DIN975 Thread Rod, commonly known as the lead screw. It has no head, a fastener composed of a threaded column of the whole tooth thread.
Unlike the double stud, the teeth are not limited to thread length and are easy to use. DIN975 thread bar is similar to DIN976 except DIN976 is a shorter length of thread bar.
The most commonly used length is 1m, 2m, 3m. Of course there are also many customized length from 50mm to 6000mm. It can be used in many construction site, cases in all the construction projects, is the most widely used fasteners.
The material has carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and so on. And the surface can be black oxide, Zinc plated, HDG, Plain, Teflon and so on. According to its strength grade, it has grade 4.8, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 10.9, A2-70 and A4-80. The metric size standard meets DIN975 and the imperial size standard meets ASME B18.31.2 and ASME B18.31.3. It’s different from ASTM A193 B7 generally whatever its length and its material.
The most important factor effecting its price is the unit weight. Different material diameter leads different weight, leading different prices.
