Product Details
Core purpose: It provides a continuous axial preload through elastic deformation to prevent the loosening of bolts/nuts caused by vibration, impact, temperature changes, etc. It can also compensate for stress relaxation and is often used with flat washers to optimize fastening reliability.
Core Functions
Loosening prevention and locking: Generates reverse elastic force when compressed after tightening, increasing the friction between thread pairs and preventing the nut from rotating and loosening; it is a low-cost basic anti-loosening solution.
Stress relaxation compensation: When the clamping force of the bolt decreases due to vibration, creep, thermal expansion and contraction, the spring washer supplements the preload through elastic rebound to maintain connection reliability.
Auxiliary buffering: Absorbs part of the energy under impact load to reduce the instantaneous stress impact on fasteners and connected parts.
